Music is provided 30 minutes prior to the start of the wedding

you would like to have them played. If you are not sure about
the exact songs to select, we can create a playlist for you.
We have playlists of traditional Hawaiian or Classical music
renditions of love songs (Very Nice!).

Wedding Reception - Lunch / Dinner

Here are a few questions we need to ask to make certain all of
your lunch / dinner music requests are played correctly.

Please check the box that applies to your lunch / dinner
music requests.

I would like for Music Express to play only the songs I have
requested for lunch / dinner. Do not play any other songs
but these. Your songs will be played in the order written.

If choosing this option, be sure to select at least 17 songs
for each hour of playing time.

I would like Music Express to play as many of my requested
dinner / lunch songs as they can and have their DJ's add
songs they feel are appropriate.

I'll leave it up to Music Express to do the best job they can.
If you would like to hear specific songs during lunch / dinner,
enter the songs in the sequence you would like them played.

For most receptions, we play either Contemporary and
Traditional Hawaiian, Jazz, Light Rock or Love Songs.

"At Last" by Etta James
"From This Moment" by Shania Twain

Wedding Reception - Money Dance

In Hawaii the money dance has become a tradition at weddings.
The money dance usually starts during the first dance and
continues until your guests have had the opportunity to express
their best wishes thru a monetary gift. The list of songs you place
below will be the songs that we play during your money dance.
Typically the music is a continuation of love songs similar to the
first dance.

"Mainland style" weddings as opposed to "local style" weddings
usually have the money dance as a separate part of their program.
This is an optional dance at a wedding reception. If you do not
plan to have a money dance, please enter N/A.

Wedding Reception - Dancing Music

Here are a few questions we need to ask to make certain all of
your dance music requests are played correctly.

Please check the box that applies to your dance music requests.

I would like for Music Express to play only the songs I have
requested for dancing. Do not play any other songs but these.
Your songs will be played in the order written.

If choosing this option, be sure to select at least 17 songs
for each hour of playing time.

As a suggestion, sort out your requests so that you have
continuity between songs. An example of continuity would
be to have 7 dance songs in a row with matching genres,
followed by a few slower or love songs, then doing it all
over again. Doing it this way allows for different sets or
genres of music to be played after each break.

I would like Music Express to incorporate as many of my
requested dance songs as they can and have their DJ's
add songs they feel will get our guests dancing and take
requests from our guests whenever possible.

I'll leave it up to Music Express to do the best job they can.

Music selected here will be played during the dance portion of
the event. Dancing usually takes place at the conclusion of the
formal program or first dance.

We have provided 60 spaces for song requests, which should be
enough for over 3 hours of dance music. We will accept a maximum
of 60 songs for dancing music only.

Wedding Reception - Songs That You Do Not Want Played

On occasion we do receive directions not to play specific songs.
We'll make sure that the songs listed below are not included
in our music programming.

Should anyone make requests for these songs, we'll inform them
that the Bride and Groom prefer not to have these songs played.
